At least one end of the lubrication holes is hardened by means of an impact force introduced into the end of the lubrication hole by means of an impact head of an impact tool, the transition radius and / or bevel are impact hardened. In this case, the impact head for impact hardening has a shaped part, the shape of which is adapted to the transition radius to be hardened and / or to the bevel of the end of the lubrication hole.

EFFECT: fatigue strength of the crankshaft is increased.
