FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: agricultural machine comprises control device. Device for controlling an agricultural machine adapted for processing a section with strips over a predetermined trajectory, which includes at least two tracks, in particular in-series located first track and second track, and which has a beginning determining the initial position of the machine. Initial position of machine is position of machine for processing of second path from its beginning. Control device is configured to collect information on first track during its processing by machine and comprises trajectory setting unit, configured to create a trajectory for guiding the machine to said initial position based on the information on the first track. Trajectory setting unit comprises position storing means, configured to store information on successive positions of the machine during processing of the first track, and a trajectory generation module configured to set the path based on information on successive positions, stored in means of memorizing positions. Method of processing a section using an agricultural machine includes steps of controlling a machine along a first path of a processed strip; forming trajectory to initial position of machine; and maneuver by machine along said trajectory to initial position.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of agricultural machine direction.
