FIELD: building materials industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the building materials industry, in particular to a method for producing a slag-alkaline material for building products and to a slag-alkaline material produced by this method and can be used as an independent building material or in the manufacturing of building products for road, civil and industrial construction, including wall blocks, sidewalk articles and kerb stones. The method for producing a slag-alkaline material for building products consists in mixing a blast furnace slag with an activator, sodium liquid glass, forming articles from a prepared mixture by pressing and curing where blast furnace slag is used ground to a specific surface of 450-500 m²/kg in a quantity of 75-85 wt. %, sodium liquid glass with silicate module n=1÷3 with density ρ=1400 kg/m³ and a ratio of sodium component per Na²O of 2.2-6.3%, in the amount of 15-25 wt. %, and superplasticator based on Glenium®51 polycarboxylate ether in the amount of 0.1-0.3 wt. % of the mass of the liquid glass (over 100%), which is preblended with the liquid glass solution and the resultant activator mixture is added to the ground slag by a subsequent careful mixing and homogenization of the raw mixture and the articles are moulded by pressing at a pressure of 100-150 MPa, the articles are cured by heat and humidity treatment in a mode of 3+6+3 h at an insulated heating temperature of 90-100°C. Disclosed is the slag-alkaline material for building product obtained by the above-mentioned method.
EFFECT: increased strength during compression and water resistance, reduced water absorption, improved moulding properties of raw mixture and reduced energy intensity of manufacturing products.
