FIELD: manufacture of building materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to slag-caustic binder formulations and may be used in industrial and civil constructional engineering to prepare building mortars and concretes. Binder including blast-furnace granulated slag and liquid glass is characterized by that the latter having silicate modulus n=1.5-2 and density ρ=1.3 g/cm3 is obtained from zeolite-containing siliceous rock at slag-to-mortar ratio 1:(2.94-3.33) and percentage of alkali component (calculated as Na2O) in binder equal to 3.8-4.4%.
EFFECT: widened resource of slag-caustic binders due to use of mineral silica-containing binders for production of tempering substance, reduced cost of product, and increased its strength.
