SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a preform for a container. The technical result is achieved with a preform for a container, said preform comprised of a hollow cylinder main part with a first thickness, a hollow cylinder thick part with a second thickness greater than the first thickness, a curved end part. The narrowed transition part is formed between the main part and the thick part so that the thickness of the preform is increased gradually from the first thickness of the main part to the second thickness of the thick part. The inner surfaces of the main part, the thick part and the end part form a cavity. A uniform handle is attached to the main part in the top connection point and attached to the main part in the bottom connection point.
EFFECT: improved control of the shape of the handle.
