FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology of titanosilicate sorbents for purification of liquid effluents from radionuclides and toxic inorganic substances. Into a titanium-containing solution with concentration of 45–70 g/l TO2 silane reagent and sodium hydroxide are added to obtain a suspension. Suspension is held in sealed conditions at high temperature to form sodium-containing titanosilicate semi-product, which is separated by filtration. Then, the intermediate product is subjected to water treatment at weight ratio of solid and liquid phases equal to 1:0.25–1.5, to obtain pulp. Pulp is stirred during 0.5–1.5 hours and filtered till moisture content of sodium-containing titanosilicate precipitate is 20–50 wt%. Sediment is granulated by extrusion and subjected to drying.
EFFECT: method enables to obtain a monophase granular sodium-containing titanosilicate sorbent which has more developed surface and higher sorption capacity.
