FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in production of cations sorbent from water-salt solutions. For production of titanium phosphate solid ammonium titanyl-sulphate is introduced in 10-50 % solution of phosphoric acid taken in the amount to provide the mass ratio of TiO2:P2O5=1:(1.75-2.5). Obtained mixture is maintained for 3.5-10 hours with creation of amorphous titanium phosphate semi-finished product. After water washing the titanium phosphate semi-finished product is treated with alkaline reagent solution to provide the pH of 3.5-6. Alkaline reagent used is sodium carbonate or ammonium carbonate. That is followed by heat treatment at 60-100 °C. Invention enables obtaining titanium phosphate with high sorption properties, improving its specific surface area up to 289 m2/g, reducing the amount of acidic wastes 1.8 times.
EFFECT: obtaining titanium phosphate with high sorption properties.
