FIELD: medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: set of inventions relates to medical engineering. A device for delivering a deliverable agent in form of an aerosol or vapour to a user. The device comprises a solid porous carrier material having a porosity of at least 10% and a deliverable agent. A part of deliverable agent is located within the pores of the carrier material with the device being operable to heat the carrier material and vaporise the deliverable agent. The carrier material is based on one or more chemically bonded ceramic materials, one or more geopolymeric materials. Disclosed are a cartridge for usage in the device and a single-dose formulation.
EFFECT: ensuring controlled release of active ingredients.
