FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to pulmonology, cardiology and respiratory sleep medicine. A patient with apnea-hypopnea is determined by age in years (Ag), body mass index (B), neck circumference (cm) (O), waist circumference (cm) (O1). In this case, each feature is assigned its numerical value, followed by calculation by the formula, that is, each feature is assigned an experimentally established weight value in the form of a product of a constant coefficient and the numerical value of a clinical anthropometric feature: (0.015149) and age (Ag); (0.048373) and body mass index (B); (0.46787) and neck circumference (O); (0.00097004) and waist circumference (O1) and summed up with a constant equal to (-24.13715). Then the probability is calculated using the original formula. With a probability value of 50% or higher, the risk of developing left ventricular diastolic dysfunction (LVDD) with the subsequent development of cardiovascular complications is predicted. If the probability is below 50%, the risk of developing LVDD is low.
EFFECT: method allows determining with high accuracy and sensitivity the likelihood of LVDD in a patient with apnea-hypopnea by a limited number of clinical and anthropometric signs.
