FIELD: mounting systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the design of a threaded connection that excludes spontaneous unscrewing of the nut under high loads and vibration, for fixation of the details and assemblies in marine and transport engineering, aviation and astronautics, turbo- and hydropower, mining and nuclear industry and other areas. The self-locking collet nut consists of a main nut with an internal standard metric thread, a collet part with longitudinal slots and an external standard taper thread, an additional lock nut with an internal taper thread that is screwed onto the collet part of the nut, and a multi-lobed locking washer. The main nut is made with the possibility of locking after tightening due to the crimping of the collet nut part, while screwing lock nut on it, and eliminating gaps in the threaded connections of the nut with the bolt and nut with lock nut, and unscrewing exception by fixing the locking washer into the longitudinal slots of the collet nut part and the end slots of the lock nut.
EFFECT: providing a reliable and long service life of the attachment under high alternating loads, increased vibration, a wide temperature range and in various environments, including underwater environments.
