FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to mechanical engineering and is aimed at creating valves for regulating the flow of hot gas using combustion products. Such valves are characterized by high pressure and temperature. The valve for regulating the flow of hot gas consists of a body with an inlet and an outlet, a cover, a damper made with a boss and fixed by means of two pins on a shaft installed on both sides in bearings. A seat with a rectangular flow hole is installed in the outlet, one of the sides of which is parallel to the shaft axis. The adjacent surfaces of the valve seat and the boss are made in the form of cylinders with a common axis coaxial with the shaft axis. A constant annular gap is made between the adjacent cylindrical surfaces of the seat and the valve. In this case, the damper in the cross section is made in the form of two cylindrical surfaces, the cylindrical surface of the damper, adjacent to the cylindrical surface of the seat, has a larger radius and in the form of a sector, the length of which exceeds the length of the flow hole of the seat. Both cylindrical surfaces of the damper are coaxial with each other and are conjugated by curves, and the boss of the damper is rectangular. The sides of the boss are parallel to the sides of the rectangular opening of the seat and go inside it. One of the sides of the rectangular hole of the seat, which is perpendicular to the shaft axis, has a cylindrical recess on it, which is coaxial to the shaft axis and located with a gap relative to the cylindrical surface of the valve boss section. The cylindrical surface of the seat recess and the outer cylindrical surface of the valve boss are adjacent to the cylindrical surfaces of the damper and the seat. There is an additional cylindrical section in the zone of the seat recess on the boss of the damper. Its radius exceeds the radius of the cylindrical recess of the seat. The boss surface, which comes into contact with the surface of the rectangular opening of the seat, is cylindrical. Its generatrix is parallel to the side of the rectangular seat opening and is connected with a cylindrical surface of a smaller radius by a curved surface, which doesn not come into contact with the seat. When the valve rests on the seat, the value of the constant clearance between the additional cylindrical section of the valve boss and the outer surface of the seat is less than the value of the constant clearance between the cylindrical surface of the seat recess and the outer cylindrical surface of the valve boss.

EFFECT: invention reduces amount of unproductive consumption of combustion products.
