FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for conducting processes of fixed solid phase with liquid or gas phases at high temperatures and can be used for sorption/adsorption processes, catalytic oxidation of elements in pharmaceutical, chemical, nuclear and other industries, in particular, when working with radioactive media. Invention relates to a mass exchange apparatus comprising a housing with a bottom integral with the housing, a removable cover with reaction mixture feed and discharge nozzles, blowoff, drainage, wherein on inner surface of cylindrical housing along its entire height a spiral groove is made, forming heat jacket, connected to heat carrier inlet union and heat carrier outlet nozzle, and inside cylindrical housing with minimum clearance there installed is removable cylindrical shell filled with fixed bulk layer consisting of outer and inner shells, and perforated bottom. On external surface of shell inner shell spiral groove is made, which forms spiral channel, connected with supply unions and removing reaction mixture for supplying initial reaction mixture to upper part of apparatus through feed pipe, heating it during passage from top to bottom along a helical channel and entering the reaction zone of the apparatus - a fixed bulk layer with a bottom upward direction and subsequent discharge through the discharge union.

EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of heat exchange process and reduced power consumption for heating of heat carrier and its consumption, increased surface of heat exchange.
