FIELD: nuclear energy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nuclear power engineering, to devices for handling spent nuclear fuel (SNF) of nuclear power plants (NPP) in form of irradiated fuel assemblies (IFA) and can be used for their placement in container during transportation and / or storage. Carrying bag for transport packing set with irradiated fuel assemblies comprises base, central pipe, sectional discs with holes, in which whole hexagonal pipes are installed in two circular rows relative to cover axis for IFA arrangement. Composite central pipe of cover is made of heat removal inserts. Between two adjacent sectional disks there are heat removal discs forming together with the section. Additional holes in the sections form channels. Hexagonal pipes of the case are three-layered; the inner layer is a cellular structure made up of spacer frames accommodating neutron-absorbing material tiles; ends of hexagonal pipes are sealed.

EFFECT: invention provides optimal nuclear-safe arrangement of 18 IFA in envelope dimensions.
