FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to abrasive blasting. Pressure is applied under pressure to treated surface of abrasive in flow of compressed air with simultaneous supply of water vapor. Air-abrasive mixture flow formed at nozzle outlet of the apparatus by means of outlet nozzle is mixed with water vapor flow, which is pre-mixed with fine-dispersed foamed pearlite in separate mixing chamber. Mixing of air-abrasive mix and steam flow with perlite is performed by supplying mixture of steam with perlite through annular nozzle, which covers outlet nozzle of air-abrasive mix at outlet of nozzle. At that, ratio of abrasive volume to pearlite volume is within 25…40%.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of cleaning surfaces with reduced mechanical damage of cleaned surface.
