FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and may be used for recovery of operating performances of the vanes of steam turbines, gas transfer plants and gas turbine engines, made from titanium alloys. Proposed method comprises dismantling vanes form the rotor, removing defective surface metal layer and thermal treatment. The latter is performed by heating the vane to 200°C - 540°C, holding in vacuum for, at least, 40 minutes for vane metal degassing and reduction of its dislocation structure, and cooling down in vacuum to ambient temperature.
EFFECT: reduced labour input, higher operating performances of vanes.
