FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and may be used for recovery of operating performances of the vanes of steam turbines, gas transfer plants and gas turbine engines, made from titanium alloys. Proposed method comprises removing defective surface metal layer, holding the vane in vacuum and thermal treatment. The latter is performed by heating the vane for vane metal degassing and reduction of its dislocation structure, and cooling down in vacuum to ambient temperature. Heating is performed to 300°C…500°C, vane curing is combined with electric pulse treatment at current density of 10 MA/m2 to 200 MA/m2.
EFFECT: expanded operating performances after recovery.
