FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology, in particular to genetic engineering, and allows you to obtain a mammalian cell line with an artificial human chromosome, which can be used to detect previously unidentified genes involved in the processes of replication and segregation of human chromosomes, as well as to search for drug candidates potentially causing chromosomal instability. The claimed test system for determining the level of chromosomal instability based on a mammalian cell line contains an artificial chromosome with genes of recombinant fluorescent proteins with CDT1 and GEMININ sequences, functioning as indicators of the cell cycle.
EFFECT: use of the proposed test system allows for rapid screening of antitumor drug candidates that cause chromosomal instability, as well as the search for genes that control the transmission of chromosomes.
