FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polymer chemistry and can be used in medicine for making external fixation apparatus for treating patients in surgical and traumatologic-orthopaedic hospitals. Composite polymer material based on polyarylene ether ketone contains, as carbon filler, 8.2-43.8 wt. % of carbon fibre obtained from high-molecular-weight hydrate-and-cell fibre in form of chopped bundles or filament with length of 50-500 mcm. Polyaryl ether ketone is selected from polyether ketone (PEK), polyether ether ketone (PEEK), polyether ketone ketone (PEKK), polyether ether ketone ketone (PEEKK), polyether ether ketone ether ketone ketone (PEKEKK). As a polymer base, said material can also contain a PEK-based composition containing 20–80 wt. % PEEK, or PEKK, or PEEKK, or PEKEKK; or a PEEK-based composition containing 20–80 wt. % PEKK, or PEEKK, or PEKEKK; or PEKK-based composition containing 20–80 wt. % of PEEKK or PEKEKK; or a composition based on PEEKK, containing 20–80 wt % PEKEKK.
EFFECT: invention provides increase in destructive stress at compression at maintaining specified level of destructive stress at tension, increase of Charpy impact viscosity on specimens without notch, increase of elasticity modulus at bending.
