FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a separating element for separating the first phase of a liquid, in particular a blood serum from the second phase of a liquid, in particular a blood clot in a tubular container, for example, a blood draw tube. The separating element (100) comprises a floating body (110) made of an elastic material and at least one ballast element (120) fixed on the lower side of the floating body (110). The floating body has a sealing edge (112) for sealing adhering to the inner side of the tubular vessel in a sealing position located on the top along the perimeter thereof. The density of the ballast element (120) is bigger than the density of the floating body (110). The density of the whole separating element (100) is between the density of the first phase and the density of the second phase of the liquid. The floating body (110) has a local narrowing (114) and is designed as a membrane (116) in the area of said narrowing for sealing the floating body in the area of its narrowing relative to the liquid.
EFFECT: technical result consists in sealing the floating body in the area of its narrowing relative to the liquid.
