SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine and can be used for performing target puncture fusion biopsy of lungs. Computed tomography of the lungs (CT) and ultrasound of the lungs (US) are performed, followed by real-time alignment of the obtained CT images and the cross-section of the lungs obtained during the ultrasound (US). At the same time, during alignment the sternocostal or sternoclavicular joint is used as bony "landmarks", when the tumor node is located in the anterior parts of the lung. When the tumor node is localized in the posterior parts of the lung, the mesoscapula and / or angles of the scapula are used as bony "landmarks" during alignment. Once alignment of CT and US images is completed using trepan biopsy needles, a target puncture Fusion biopsy of the detected neoplasm is performed with tissue recovery for research purposes.
EFFECT: method provides the clearest visualization of the localization of the tumor node in the lung tissue in patients with insufficient or absent sonographic visualization of the tumor node due to the exact alignment of CT and US images resulted from using the selected bone landmarks.
