FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to oncology, in particular to radiotherapy and nuclear medicine, and can be used for targeted brachytherapy of prostate cancer under hybrid PSMA-receptor scintigraphy navigation. 99mTc-PSMA is administered to the patient at the rate of 6.3 MBq per kg of body weight. 2 hours after the introduction of the radiopharmaceutical, SPECT-CT of the pelvic region is performed on a gamma camera: 60 projections, with an exposure of 30 seconds per projection, matrix 256×256: tube voltage 120-140 kV, current strength 80-400 mAs, slice thickness 3, 75 mm with 1.25 mm reconstruction, table pitch 1 mm. Further, the obtained images are analyzed and describe the exact localization of foci of abnormal absorption of 99mTc-PSMA in the prostate gland above the surrounding background level and determine the topometric parameters of the tumor. The obtained data is entered into the dosimetric planning system - the obtained images are combined using the FUSION function and dosimetric planning is carried out based on the exact location of the tumor. Moreover, when contouring an organ with a clinical volume of the target, a focus that has accumulated 99 mTc is used for the planned volume of the target and additionally contoured by 5 mm from the clinical volume of the target.
EFFECT: method provides targeted implantation of a radioactive source due to a combination of SPECT-CT and SCT.
