METHOD FOR THE PREVENTION OF INTESTINAL SUTURE FAILURE IN CONDITIONS OF WIDESPREAD PERITONITIS IN THE EXPERIMENT Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC G09B23/28 A61B17/00 A61P31/00 A61L17/06 C08B11/12

Abstract RU 2744538 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and namely to abdominal surgery. During the operation, a wound defect is applied to the inflamed colon wall after aspiration of the peritoneal exudate. The defect is sutured using an antibacterial polyglycolide suture coated with 10% of miramistin. After that, an immobilized form of 0.01% of miramistin based on sodium salt of carboxymethyl cellulose is injected into all parts of the abdominal cavity.

EFFECT: method allows obtaining a pronounced long-term antimicrobial effect in the area of surgical intervention, prevents inactivation of miramistin by the peritoneal toxic exudate and does not adversely affect the course of the postoperative period.
