FIELD: measurement.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to determining a dipole magnetic moment of residual magnetisation and a magnetic polarisability tensor of a weakly magnetized object. Test bench for realizing the method of determining the dipole magnetic moment of residual magnetisation and the object magnetic susceptibility tensor comprises a base, a platform, measuring system and magnetometers, wherein the object is fixed on a platform mounted on the base and located in the center of the measurement system, forming a spherical volume of radius R, and magnetometers are installed in measuring points of surface of spherical volume, at that, stand for method implementation contains at least one magnetometer, and the base is made in the form of a frame, on which the platform is installed by means of axes, on which a measuring system is also installed, made in the form of a frame with installed on it clips for fixation of the magnetometer, wherein magnetic center of magnetometer when mounted on frame coincides with corresponding measuring point on surface of spherical volume.

EFFECT: higher accuracy and reliability of measuring dipole magnetic moments of residual magnetisation and a magnetic polarisability tensor of a weakly magnetized object with broader functional capabilities.
