METHOD OF ASSESSING DEGREE OF THERAPEUTIC PHYSICAL ACTIVITY FOR ELDERLY PEOPLE WITH ARTERIAL HYPERTENSION Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC A61H1/00

Abstract RU 2745241 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to therapy and physical therapy exercises, and concerns assessment of adequacy of therapeutic physical activity for elderly people with arterial hypertension. For this, hemodynamic and biochemical parameters characterizing function of the cardiovascular system prior to and after 5 to 7 training sessions are determined. If pathological changes of the studied parameters are present, the volume and duration of physical exercises are reduced. If the studied parameters correspond with the age norm, training continues in the same amount with control studies conducted after 1, 3, 6 and 12 months.

EFFECT: method allows individually selecting adequate physical activity and appropriate time of adjustment thereof, if necessary, for a given group of patients by assessing a large volume of parameters of function of the cardiovascular system at experimentally determined time intervals.
