FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to nephrology, pulmonology, and can be used in diagnosing chronic kidney disease in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. For this purpose, blood serum creatinine (SCr) is determined, glomerular filtration rate (GFR) and homocysteine (HC) are calculated. Additionally, C-reactive protein (CRP), tumour necrosis factor TNF-a (TNF-a), interleukin-6 (IL-6), interleukin-8 (IL-8) are determined. If GFR decreases from 90 to 45 ml/min and serum creatinine (SCr) increases from 101.9 to 463 mcmol/l, homocysteine (HC) from 17.5 to 39.9 mcmol/l, C-reactive protein (CRP) from 7.21 to 16.23 mg/l, tumour necrosis factor TNF-a (TNF-a) from 5.6 to 16.19 pg/ml, interleukin-6 (IL-6) from 8.67 to 10.07 pg/ml, interleukin-8 (IL-8) from 129.8 to 149.91 pg/ml, chronic kidney disease is diagnosed.

EFFECT: method provides for early diagnosis of chronic kidney disease in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, which provides higher therapeutic effect and reduced length of treatment.
