FIELD: data transmission.
SUBSTANCE: secured data transmission facilities between a processing unit and a remote system contain a data diode located between them which enables data exit from the unit but prevents data transmission into the unit and the related systems. Then, the processing unit data from the secured data transmission facilities is analyzed to determine the states occurring on the processing unit objects in the processing unit using various methods of machine learning. When the processing unit object is a valve, the operation mode of the valve is determined and for each of the operation modes in which the valve operates different analysis is applied. Furthermore, the processing unit data for each valve is compared with the data for other valves of said processing unit, company, industrial field etc. Thus serviceability of each valve is arranged against the others and the processing unit data for each valve is displayed in a side-by-side comparison.
EFFECT: invention enables time-series analysis for estimation of serviceability of a control valve.
