FIELD: fish preparation.
SUBSTANCE: fish processing unit includes a frame containing a beam, a live fish survey system, a conveyor unit configured to transport live fish to the survey system, at least one robotic module extending from the beam, extending in the direction of the conveyor unit and containing a controller configured control of the robotic module. The controller is in communication with the specified survey system. The end actuator is functionally connected to the robotic module and is configured to interact with live fish moving along the conveyor assembly, based on information determined by the survey system and received by the controller. Methods for processing fish using a block are also proposed. EFFECT: group of inventions makes it possible to reduce the physical impact on live fish, as well as to reduce the total area occupied by the fish processing system.
