SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of communication, and in particular to a method for providing feedback information. The method comprises: receiving by the transmitting side a forward link transmission resource; sending by the transmitting side the first forward communication data to the receiving side using the forward link transmission resource, in which the first forward communication data contains feedback indication information and information indicating the sending method, the feedback indication information being 1-bit indication information; and when the feedback indication information indicates that feedback is to be performed for the first forward communication data, the transmitting side receives the second forward communication data sent by the receiving side on the forward link feedback resource in which the second forward communication data transmits feedback information communication; obtaining, by the receiving side, a forward link feedback resource based on the forward link transmission resource and a preset mapping relationship between the forward link transmission resource and the forward link reverse link resource.
EFFECT: increased reliability of transmission over the forward link and providing more flexible resource scheduling.
