FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices that initiate and directionally transmit detonation in order to initiate an explosive charge of the detonated object. The detonation transmission device has a metal body with an insert installed in it. There is a detonation channel between the detonator and the detonation object in the insert. The insert is made of an inert material with density of less than 0.3 g/cm3. The insert is composite. One of the parts of the insert has a longitudinal groove that is made with an outlet lateral hole. There is a plastic explosive of the detonation channel in the outlet lateral hole. The detonation channel has a receiving block and a transmitting block closed by a liner transmitting detonation in a given direction.
EFFECT: reducing the shock wave impact on the surrounding structures.
