FIELD: gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to refrigeration and cryogenic technology and is intended for the liquefaction of vaporized components, for example, fuels in land-based power plants and vehicles. A method of gas liquefaction by cooling it with a cold liquid with a temperature lower than the condensation temperature of the liquefied gas is proposed. The container is filled with cold liquid, and the liquefied gas is sprayed and fed to the lower layers of the column of cold liquid in the form of bubbles. The liquefaction is carried out until the cold liquid completely evaporates and is replaced by the liquid phase of the liquefied gas.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase efficiency of heat transfer, safety of the liquefaction process and simplify the design of the system for liquefying gases.
