FIELD: refrigeration.
SUBSTANCE: gas liquefaction unit relates to refrigeration and cryogenic equipment and is intended for liquefaction of vaporised components, e.g., fuels in ground-based power plants and vehicles. The gas liquefaction unit is comprised of a heat exchanger made in the form of a cryogenic container enclosed in heat insulation and a casing, the liquid volume whereof communicates with the liquid cryogenic refrigerant and liquefied gas supply pipelines. The liquefied gas supply pipeline has a collector and capillary channels connected therewith, located in the internal volume in the lower part of the cryogenic container for the exit of the liquefied gas into the liquid cryogenic refrigerant. The collector is located on the outer surface of the cryogenic container in the heat insulation, does not come in contact with the inner wall of the casing, and is connected with capillary channels protruding above the surface of the inner wall of the cryogenic container through holes in the walls of the cryogenic container.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of the process of liquefaction.
