FIELD: inspection systems.

SUBSTANCE: usage: for inspection of an object. The essence of the invention lies in the fact that the inspection system comprises a base, a bar lifting mechanism provided on the base, and a bar on which the detector is installed. The lifting mechanism of the bar contains at least two support arms arranged in series. At least two support arms include a base arm and a distal arm. The base arm is connected to the base, the bar is mounted on the distal arm, the inspection system has a scanning mode and a transport mode, and two adjacent support arms of at least two support arms are pivotally connected so that the height of the bar in the scanning mode differs from that in the transport mode. The lifting mechanism of the inspection system rod according to the present invention raises the rod by means of a pivotal connection of two adjacent support arms and provides less necessary driving force compared to lifting the rod directly in the vertical direction, as is known in the prior art.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at providing possibility of reducing the weight of the drive mechanism for lifting the bar and, as a result, reducing the own weight of the inspection system as a whole.
