FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: application: for baggage screening. Computer tomographic screener comprises source of radiation and detector, which form zone of radiation screening, and mechanism of transportation, which moves screened object along transportation track, at the same time it also comprises device for displacement in several dimensions, which provides for relative displacement along vertical line of screened object and zone of radiation screening and rotation of screened object around vertical axis.
EFFECT: increased reliability of structure, and also accelerated screening procedure with application of tomographic scanning.
