SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the field of medicine, namely to a composition for locoregional treatment of a disease of the musculoskeletal system, characterized by an acute or chronic inflammatory condition, containing a cyclodextrin clathrate and a pharmacologically active ingredient, wherein the cyclodextrin and pharmacologically active ingredient clathrate is uniformly dispersed in a polysaccharide polymer matrix in an aqueous a solution formed by hyaluronic acid and/or a salt thereof and an oligosaccharide derivative of chitosan with lactose, obtained by the reductive amination reaction of D-glucosamine of chitosan, having a degree of substitution of the amine functional group with lactose of at least 40%, wherein the specified cyclodextrin is an ester derivative of β-cyclodextrin, γ-cyclodextrin or mixtures thereof, and where the specified salt of hyaluronic acid is a pharmaceutically acceptable salt consisting of hyaluronate and an alkali metal cation.

EFFECT: present invention provides compositions capable of completely and uniformly solubilizing a pharmacologically active ingredient (API) in a non-crosslinked aqueous polysaccharide polymer matrix and modulating API release from the matrix.
