FIELD: reactor construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of reactor construction, in particular to a device for unloading and temporary storage. The device for unloading and temporary storage contains a storage bin, an external part of the storage bin, an internal part of the storage bin, a protection module and a load module. The external part of the storage bin includes cooling water jacket. The internal part of the storage bin includes a straight bin, an inclined bin and an unloading bin, which are sequentially connected. The protection module includes an external protection shield and a neutron protection shield. The load module includes a load case, which has input channels for spherical elements.
EFFECT: invention provides geometric integrity of spherical elements unloaded from the active zone and received for temporary storage and reliable security guarantee by means of residual heat removal and providing γ-radiation protection.
