FIELD: restorative medicine; rehabilitation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to restorative medicine and rehabilitation, it is intended for permanent use as a Nordic stick plus a walking stick and can be used in case of various diseases. Multifunctional stick – a Nordic load-balancing stick or walking stick contains aluminum tubes connected to each other with possibility of height adjustment, a hook-shaped or semicircular handle made of plastic with a cork coating, a tip made of steel or rubber, and a leash made of neoprene. The pressure sensor is connected by a wire to the handle and is located in the tip of the stick or in the middle of its upper part. In the handle, there are devices for giving a light and a vibration signal, informing about the pressure on the stick, a heart rate monitor, and a battery. The handle folds for a walking stick or straightens for Nordic walking.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of rehabilitation by ensuring control of the force applied to the stick.
