FIELD: composite materials.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing composite materials based on silicon carbide, reinforced with a textile material made of silicon carbide, which can be used to work in aggressive environments, in conditions of high temperatures and abrasive effects, can be used to create sliding and rolling bearings, gas turbine engine blades and products for special purposes. On the reinforcing component in the form of a silicon carbide fabric obtained by siliconizing the carbon fabric with silicon monoxide vapor, rubber glue is applied on both sides. The indicated silicon carbide fabric and silicon carbide powder containing a sintering additive in the form of yttrium aluminum garnet are placed in a graphite mold. By hot pressing with a specific pressure of 30 MPa and at a temperature of 1850°C, a composite material with a ceramic matrix is obtained.

EFFECT: invention improves the value of the impact strength of ceramic composite materials based on silicon carbide.
