FIELD: radio communication.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for changing the state of radio resource control (RRC). The RRC state change method includes the steps of: when the terminal changes state from the current state to the RRC connected state, the terminal requests reestablishment of the RRC connection using an existing signaling radio bearer (SRB) configuration. When the terminal receives a response from the DU to the RRC connection reestablishment request, if the response contains a newly allocated SRB configuration, the terminal replaces the existing SRB configuration with a newly allocated SRB configuration to reestablish the RRC connection.
EFFECT: invention provides a transition between the RRC idle state and the connected state in the case of division into CU and DU.
