FIELD: technical diagnostics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of technical diagnostics and can be used in the field of railway transport, namely for measuring and registering vertical and lateral forces acting on the side frame of the bogie from the wheelset when moving railway cars. Essence: on the upper and inclined belts of the side frame of the trolley, eight strain gages are installed from the outside and inside so that the connection diagram of the strain gages makes it possible to obtain two output signals. Processing of output signals to restore the values of vertical and lateral forces occurs through the addition and subtraction of the values of the output signals from the installed strain gages, according to the formulas:
where Kv and Kl are constant coefficients, respectively, for measuring vertical and lateral forces, determined when calibrating strain gauge circuits; E is the modulus of elasticity; μ - Poisson's ratio; S1 and S2 are the output signals of the measuring bridges.
EFFECT: increasing the accuracy of measurements of vertical forces and ensuring the simultaneous measurement of vertical and lateral forces transmitted to the side frame of the bogie from the wheelset, as well as increasing the safety of the movement of cars by improving the quality of their diagnostics.
