FIELD: electric vacuum devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electric vacuum devices, in particular klystrons. The broadband small-sized klystron has a two-link filter system, which includes active and passive resonators with capacitive protrusions connected by a coupling gap. The passive resonator is connected to the coaxial energy input (output). The active and passive resonators are located perpendicular to each other, and the coaxial energy input (output) is connected to the passive resonator by a capacitive coupling. A capacitive coupling is formed between the internal conductor of the coaxial energy input and the capacitive protrusion of the passive resonator. The capacitive protrusion of the passive resonator is made in the form of a half cylinder cut along the axis. The central conductor of the coaxial energy input (output) is located opposite the capacitive protrusion; it ends with a plate parallel to the end of the capacitive protrusion. The required coupling coefficient of the passive resonator with the input path is selected by rotating the coaxial energy input around its axis.
EFFECT: reduction in overall dimensions and an increase in the vibration resistance of the klystron.
