FIELD: cables.
SUBSTANCE: proposed is a composite cable with an outer housing (8) surrounding at least a reinforcing element (7) which has high-strength synthetic fibers and constitutes a composite reinforcing element (7) formed by a combination of aramid fibers and HMPE fibers containing a non-uniform distribution of aramid and HMPE fibers, wherein the weight ratio of aramid to HMPE in the reinforcing element (7) is preferably no less than 80:20.
EFFECT: proposed is design of a reinforced composite cable.
