FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, namely, an apparatus for performing cold atmospheric plasma procedures and an apparatus for cold atmospheric plasma. The apparatus for performing the procedures contains a housing, a chamber inside this housing, and the inlet of this chamber. The housing has four exit holes from this chamber. Each exit hole contains an output channel having a proximal end opening facing the specified chamber, and a distal end opening designed so that the gas passing through the channel can escape from the housing. The distal end of one of at least four electrodes enters each output channel. The housing includes four electrodes installed in this housing, each of which has a distal end aligned with one of the exit holes. The housing has a supporting element in each output channel, which serves as a support for the part of the electrode in the channel. The said inlet, chamber, exit holes, and four electrodes are designed to allow the passage of an inert gas through the inlet, chamber, and exit hole. On the path of passage, the gas under the action of electrical energy applied to the specified electrodes is converted into plasma, resulting in the formation of cold plasma coming out of the exit holes. The cold atmospheric plasma apparatus contains a diffusion applicator assembly containing a biocompatible plastic housing. The body contains a distal end part. The end part has a side wall; a distal end surface; four output channels passing through this distal end surface. The end part includes an electrode support element within each output channel and a proximal end part connected to the aforementioned distal end part. The distal end part contains an input channel passing through the proximal end part and four channels for electrodes passing through the proximal end part. The aforementioned distal and proximal end parts form a chamber inside the aforementioned biocompatible housing. The distal end part contains four electrodes, each of which passes through one of several channels for the electrodes into the chamber, then through the chamber and exits into one of the four output channels, in which each electrode rests on one of the channels for the electrodes and a supporting element in one of the output channels.
EFFECT: simultaneous treatment of large areas of tissue, harmless to biological tissues and not causing burns.
