FIELD: communication.
SUBSTANCE: system information (hereinafter – SI) for the first radio cell that can be received in user equipment (hereinafter – UE) is transferred in a minimum SI message and one or more additional SI messages. The minimum SI message includes SI for providing access to the first radio cell and at least one SI index, each of which is related to one of additional SI messages. SI message index contains a value tag and a domain indicator, wherein the latter indicates one domain that is already determined. A processing scheme determines, if UE has already received the additional SI message related to the same value tag and the same domain. If the determination is positive, the processing scheme determines that SI included in the specified additional SI message received earlier is applicable to the first radio cell.
EFFECT: possibility of the control of providing SI by means of the network and corresponding collecting SI by UE, as well as determining actual processes for SI delivery by the base station and receiving SI in UE.
