FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, particularly to pathomorphology and clinical oncology. Disclosed is a method of differential diagnostics of diffuse large B-cell lymphomas consisting in conducting immunohistochemical stage-by-stage analysis of the biopsy material wherein the Hans algorithm is used at the first stage to determine the GCB or non-GCB subtype of the lymphoma depending on the presence or absence of expression of CD 10, bcl-6, mum-1 proteins in the test material, the expression of c-myc and bcl-2 markers is determined at the second stage, in the absence of expression of both markers, diffuse large B-cell lymphoma is diagnosed without translocations in the MYC and BCL2 genes, and in the presence of expression of C-myc and bcl-2 markers testing is continued by FISH analysis to detect translocations in the MYC gene or in the MYC, BCL2 and BCL-6 genes.
EFFECT: invention provides timely differential diagnostics and significant material resource conservation.
