FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method of morphometric prediction of the course of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma based on the index of the proportion of p16INK4A- and p14ARF-positive tumour cells in the lymph nodes, characterized by the following: after a biopsy of the lymph nodes, immunohistochemical staining is performed on histological preparations and the relative number of tumour cells expressing p16INK4A and p14ARF is calculated morphometrically, then the index of the proportion of p16INK4A- and p14ARF-positive tumour cells is determined. If index values are less than 36%, a favourable course of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma is predicted, and with at least 36% an unfavourable outcome of the disease is predicted.
EFFECT: provision of objective criteria for predicting diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.
