FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to hematology, and can be used for morphometric prediction of the course of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). To do this, after a biopsy of the lymph nodes in histological sections, immunohistochemical staining is performed. Next, the relative number of p14ARF-positive tumor cells is calculated morphometrically using the formula S=D/n×100%, where S is the average relative content of p14ARF-positive cells in one tumor sample (%), D is the number of p14ARF-positive tumor cells in 10 fields view, n is the total number of cells in 10 fields of view. With a relative content of p14ARF-positive tumor cells <65%, a favorable course of DLBCL is predicted, and with a content of p14ARF-positive cells of ≥65%, an unfavorable course of the disease is predicted.
EFFECT: method provides obtaining objective criteria for predicting the course of DLBCL.
