FIELD: X-ray and gamma radiation measurement.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to X-ray and gamma radiation measurement. The search scintillation detector of gamma radiation additionally contains a second photodetector optically connected to the scintillation crystal, a second signal amplifier-shaper connected to the second photodetector, as well as a scheme for matching the pulses of signals from the photodetectors in time. The control device of the temperature dependence compensation unit is designed to convert data from the temperature sensor into the control voltage supplied to the power source of the photodetectors, according to the nonlinear law. The scintillation crystal, photodetectors, and temperature sensor are placed in the thermostat.
EFFECT: ensuring the operability and stability of the readings of the gamma-ray detector, made on the basis of a scintillation crystal and Si photomultiplier as a photodetector in a wide range of ambient temperatures - from minus 65°C to plus 70°C.
