FIELD: aviation; rocketry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat-shielding materials based on ethylene propylene diene rubbers, which can be used in aircraft and rocketry. A heat-shielding material based on EPDM-40 ethylene propylene diene rubber is proposed, containing vulcanizing agents - sulfur and thiuram D, a vulcanization accelerator - 2-mercaptobenzothiazole, vulcanization activators - zinc oxide and stearin, carbon black and a modifying additive, preliminarily applied to aluminosilicate solution by thermostating characterized in that the material additionally contains dithiodimorpholine, white carbon black BS-120 and pine rosin, and as a modifying additive it contains polyphenylene oxide, previously applied to hollow aluminosilicate microspheres from a 5 wt.% solution in styrene monomer at a mass ratio of aluminosilicate hollow microspheres: solution polyphenylene oxide = 1: 5, with the following ratio of components, mass parts: rubber SKEPT-40 100.0, sulfur - 2.0, dithiodimorpholine -2.0, thiuram D - 0.75, 2-mercaptobenzothiazole - 1.5 , zinc oxide - 5.0, stearin - 1.0, carbon black P-324 - 2.0, pine rosin - 3.0, white soot BS -120 30.0, hollow aluminosilicate microspheres with pre-applied polyphenylene oxide 1.0-5.0.
EFFECT: increasing heat-shielding properties, expanding the arsenal of heat-shielding materials.
