FIELD: medicine; surgical dentistry.
SUBSTANCE: following sequence of the surgery is performed using a surgical needle with a surgical suture thread. The first suture round is carried out through the first insertion point of the surgical needle perpendicular to the surface of the soft tissues through the apically displaced mucoso-submucosal flap from the side of the buccal mucosa. The puncture is performed through the second point, located on the side of the buccal mucosa marginal to the first puncture point. The second suture round is performed through the third injection of a surgical needle into the submucoperiosteal flap through the separated edge of the periosteum from the side of the periosteum. The puncture is performed through the fourth point, located on the vestibular side of the submucosal flap, forming a loop from the free ends of the surgical suture thread. Next, the thread is tensioned, tucking the apically displaced muco-submucosal flap. Then a surgical knot is formed.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to fix an apically displaced flap during mucogingival surgical procedures, create an implant-gingival cuff, perform surgical treatment of gum recession, accelerate wound healing and minimize the risk of complications.
