FIELD: antiseptic and disinfectant agents.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lyotropic liquid crystal of chlorhexidine base formed in an aqueous liquid crystal system of a non-ionic surfactant or a mixture of non-ionic and cationic surfactants, in the presence of a stabilizer and an acidity regulator, provided that the acidity regulator is not an amino acid, when the components are sequentially mixed in the order of deionized water, non-ionic surfactant or a mixture of non-ionic and cationic surfactants, a stabilizer, an acidity regulator and a chlorhexidine base, characterized by a lamellar structure and a characteristic viscosity (η) from 5,099 to 10,197 Pa⋅s, with the following ratio of components, wt. %: nonionic surfactant or a mixture of cationic and nonionic surfactants 1.0-30.0; stabilizer 0.1-5.0; acidity regulator 0.03-4.0; chlorhexidine base 0.1-3.5; deionized water up to 100. Lyotropic liquid crystal of chlorhexidine is used as an active substance for production of disinfectants or antiseptics.
EFFECT: proposed is lyotropic liquid crystal of chlorhexidine base, which has thermodynamic stability and exhibits high biocidal activity.
